Alex Emmerman is a talented creative artist with exceptional experience in design: websites, video production, user experience (UX), social media, and technology implementation. Alex holds a BFA in Visual Arts from UMBC and a Certificate in Technology in Arts Management from American University. As DSFederal’s Art Director, he oversees website design, branding, and 508 compliance, serving as the creative force behind all of DSFederal’s visual content—both online and print. With extensive expertise in Section 508 requirements, he is passionate about inclusion, emphasizing accessibility for all users, rather than mere compliance. Alex has made pivotal contributions to many key DSFederal projects, including the ONC.gov redesign, web and print content for the Office of Research Integrity, and the newly published TargetHIV.gov Building Futures Technical Assistance Toolkit. Alex joined DSFederal in 2015.
