GAITHERSBURG. DSFederal, Inc. has been awarded a SeaPort-e multiple award contract issued by the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Under this contract, DSFederal will provide expert consultants to assist the Navy in 6 of 22 functional services:
· Software Engineering, Development, Programming, and Network Support
· Supply & Provisioning
· Training Support
· Program Support
· Functional and Administrative Support
· Public Affairs and Multimedia Support
This award is based on DSFederal’s past performance in these areas and its ability to continue to provide quality services at competitive rates. Services will support the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research, and the Marine Corps. The contracting authority is the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, VA. The Navy will procure about $5.3 billion in services per year via orders issued under the program.
