DSFederal to model Federal ER training

GAITHERSBURG, MD. DSFederal, Inc. was awarded a contract by the National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety (NIOSH), an office of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), under which the company will develop a driving simulation that will be used to help train emergency response vehicle crews. The simulation will be created by DSFederal’s new simulations lab.

DSFederal’s Dr. George Stone stated, “In 2010, there were 32,885 highway fatalities in motor vehicle crashes. We will be creating this 3-D simulation to plan out realistic scenarios, which experts in the NIOSH VR Laboratory will be able to use to enhance safety for American motorists and emergency crews.”
