As the recent winner of an IDIQ contract at USDA, DSFederal will provide library, data management, and software development and support services to the National Agricultural Library, the largest collection of agricultural information in the world, and one of four national libraries in the U.S.
As government agencies increasingly go paperless, the library has placed an emphasis on digitization of files. DSFederal’s contract will focus largely on converting print files to digital formats and expanding digital collections through licensing, an innovative solution that allows seamless storage of a vast number of files.
DSFederal technicians anticipate a prolific collaboration with NAL staff to provide affordable interoperability of information systems and sources with user-friendly interfaces; and viable and current data, information, and knowledge to all NAL stakeholders.
