DSFederal appoints distinguished Army veterans to its Board of Directors

DSFederal is honored and pleased to welcome Lieutenant General Arthur J. Gregg, U.S. Army (Ret.); and Major General Elder Granger, M.D., U.S. Army (Ret.) to our Board of Directors.

Lt. General Arthur Gregg, U.S. Army (Ret.)

General Gregg has served as the Army’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, and as a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under President Carter. A recipient of the Defense Distinguished Service Medal, among many other honors, he is also the inspiration for the Army’s Lt. Gen. Arthur J. Gregg Sustainment Leadership Award, which recognizes outstanding achievement in Army logistics. Excelsior College presents the annual Arthur Gregg Award, named in his honor, to an active duty service member who achieves academic distinction as a student at Excelsior. Throughout his career, General Gregg has lived his motto: “As a leader, you must put the mission first, and yourself last.”

Major General Elder Granger, M.D., U.S. Army (Ret.)

A soldier, physician, and healthcare advocate, General Granger served in leadership roles at every level of the Army Medical Department, including four years as Deputy Director of Tricare. His many military honors include the Defense Superior Service Medal. A board-certified physician licensed to practice medicine in six states, he is also a National Cancer Institute-certified Individual Investigator and an Adjunct Professor at USUHS. With a physician’s perspective on healthcare, and a soldier’s dedication to service, General Granger is uniquely qualified to advise DSFederal and help us to achieve our goal of making the world a better place.
