Graduation day! DSFederal thanks the SBA 8(a) program.

From a rather modest start from a table at the Bethesda Barnes and Noble coffee shop, DSFederal has grown to become a leader among small Federal contractors, thanks to the support of the Small Business Administration's 8(a) Business Development Program. After 10 years as an 8(a) Woman-Owned Small Business, we are now proud graduates of this wonderful program that has leveled the playing field for so many small businesses. Thanks to the support of the 8(a) program, DSFederal now has:

  • 160 employees

  • Over 40 contracts

  • Over 20 Federal clients, including HHS, NIH, the US Army Research Laboratory, the US Army Medical Research Institute for Infectious Diseases, the Department of Transportation, the National Agricultural Library, and more

  • Contracts in seven states

A few of DSFederal's 160 employees celebrate Graduation Day

As a mature small business, we look forward to giving back, by mentoring other small businesses and helping them to achieve the same success; while continuing our own growth and expanding into new areas of practice. Like any new graduates, we are eager to tackle whatever challenges the future brings, and we're delighted to embark on our new status as an 8(a) graduate company. From everyone at DSFederal: Thank you to the Small Business Administration!
