Administration for Community Living (ACL): Streamlining the Grant Process from Cradle to Grave


The Administration for Community Living (ACL) needed a unified, yet flexible, process to accommodate different grant programs from various agencies that provide invaluable services to the elderly and people of all ages with disabilities.


We developed a Toolkit that included comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) describing the cradle to grave process of planning, awarding, monitoring and closing out grants. The kit included detailed workflow diagrams depicting the process with built-in flexibility to allow programs to meet grant requirements.


DSFederal created a unified SOP that helped the agency process community-support grants in a consistent and accountable manner.
