Rockville, MD -- DSFederal is thrilled to welcome Dr. Kevin B Zhang as our new Vice President of Public Health and Data Analytics. Dr. Zhang is a seasoned technical leader and business manager with extensive experience in program management, large surveillance systems development and management, data analytics, and public health research.

Dr. Zhang joins DSFederal after a long 19-year career at ICF International, where he was a Senior Director of Health Informatics who led numerous disease surveillance projects. Most notably, he led the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Program of Cancer Registries (NPCR)-Cancer Surveillance System (CSS) project since 2001.
Along with his expertise in the public health sector, Dr. Zhang has an extensive data analytics background that spans from system design to advanced statistical methods to decision modeling. As a veteran in the field of health informatics and public health, he has presented in the numerous public health informatics conferences and published widely in peer-reviewed journals.
