Dave Giles is the Program Manager for Administrative and Technical Support Services for DSFederal. In this role, he coordinates with the DSFederal team to oversee contract management, program and project operations, quality control, personnel administration, schedule management, and resource management for multiple contracts supporting the Health and Human Services mission. He also participates in executive level planning and processes within DSFederal.

Dave initially joined DSFederal in January 2023 and spent the next year serving as Project Manager for the Next Generation IT Services (NGITS) Task Order #3.  In this role, he was responsible for leading a team of subject matter experts in Applications and Platform Services business analysis for the Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Applications and Platform Services (OAPS). During this time, his team worked to manage and provide accountability for the development of more than 70 IT platform and applications, including their coordinated execution, vendor invoicing, and intra-agency billing. The efforts of him and his team were key to improving the efficiencies and processes of the HHS OAPS and therefore providing improved services to our citizens.

Prior to joining DSFederal, Dave was a recognized and respected Executive, Program Manager, and Project Manager within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Veterans Administration (VA) Initial Outfitting, Transition, and Activation (IOT&A) community. He came to DSFederal from Go Energistics, where he was the DoD Healthcare Operations lead.  In this position he developed and managed effective IOT&A strategy for new business while simultaneously serving as the Project Manager for three separate IOT&A projects.  Dave came to DSFederal with experience, in both the DoD and Private Industry, at the strategic, operational, program management and project management levels.

Dave has an MBA from Frostburg State University, as well as a Bachelor of Science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. He is a decorated Army Veteran with combat tours from Desert Shield/Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom, a proud father of five, and a proud grandfather of three. He likes to tell people that the only thing he likes more than being a Veteran is being a Grandfather!
