Tracy Chong is a Proposal Manager and Communications Lead. She is responsible for coordinating proposal development, supporting pre-solicitation capture, and managing internal and external communications efforts.
Ms. Chong has over 17 years of experience conducting professional research and guiding teams through complex projects from her work in academic research.
Before DSFederal, Ms. Chong was a research specialist at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. She supervised a team studying the parasitic worm, Schistosoma mansoni, and also collaborated with international partners on a variety of initiatives leading to the publication of multiple peer reviewed articles.
She attended the University of Illinois where she earned a Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry.
