Vanita Deames is DSFederal’s Human Resources Director. She implements employee engagement, retention, and process improvement strategies, and manages organizational development initiatives to support business goals. She brings over 15 years of HR experience from her previous work with nonprofit and financial services firms.
Prior to DSFederal, Ms. Deames was an HR generalist at PRS, a nonprofit organization specializing in behavioral health services and crisis intervention. Her role included onboarding employees during a period of high-volume recruiting and streamlining internal processes. Before PRS, she spent six years at the reinsurance company, Guy Carpenter, serving as an HR Manager, domestically and globally in Latin America. Her responsibilities included compensation planning, talent assessment, and employee development initiatives.
Ms. Deames graduated with a B.S. from Cornell University.
