With resounding praise from government customers and international entities alike, achievement of several milestone industry certifications, and on-target revenue gains, 2014 represented a year of prolific growth and maturity for DSFederal. Here’s a look at the company’s most prominent accomplishments in 2014.

“HHS Innovates” recognition by Sylvia Burwell: DSFederal’s Ladder Safety Mobile App advanced to the final round of competition for the “HHS Innovates” award, which honors the most problem-solving, forward-thinking efforts. DSFederal CEO Sophia Parker and Project Manager George Stone received in-person recognition from HHS Secretary Burwell at a July ceremony. The app also received coverage in numerous trade publications and elicited praise from more than 20 countries and 50 U.S. organizations.

MBE and Overseas Taiwanese SMEs Awards: DSFederal received awards honoring its economic and charitable contributions both within the U.S. and abroad: The 16th Annual Pyramid Outstanding Small Businesses Award from Taiwan, and the Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Award in Baltimore.

CMMI Level 3 Certification: After an exhaustive 14-month effort that required cross-departmental collaboration and significant time commitments, the CMMI Institute appraised DSFederal at CMMI Level 3.
