DSFederal makes the Honor Roll with $1,500 "Class-Level" donation to MCPS GIVE BACKpacks c

The MCPS Educational Foundation supports the educational mission of Montgomery County Public Schools by raising money from private and corporate donors. The additional funds allow MCPS to improve existing programs, offer additional educational and enrichment opportunities, and provide supplies and equipment for children in need.

GIVE BACKpacks, the Foundation's supply campaign, provides backpacks filled with supplies to students throughout the county. DSFederal was pleased to have the opportunity to support this great initiative with a $1,500 "Class-Level" donation, which will fund backpacks and supplies for 100 students. DSFederal CEO Sophia Parker writes: "One of the great privileges that our company has is the ability to help the poor and disenfranchised around the world. However, I also don’t want to forget that there are people in this country, and in our own community, who need our help. As an immigrant who grew up in poverty, I know first-hand that education is the one thing that levels the playing field for everyone, regardless of background and circumstances. I'm delighted to be able to contribute to this wonderful program that helps to level the playing field for many of our bright, hardworking MCPS students."

GIVE BACKpacks accepts donations in any amount, from $5 to $5,000; and just a few dollars can make a difference. You can donate at GIVE BACKpacks.
