Dominic Francis, our FDA Clarity PM, is an IT professional and a part-time humanitarian. Instead of a beach visit or sightseeing trip, Dominic is spending his vacation in Nepal, serving as a volunteer camp counselor at the BlinkNow orphanage in Surkhet. BlinkNow was founded by Maggie Doyne, who first visited Nepal at age 18 and was shocked at the poverty and harsh conditions in which so many Nepali children live. Established on a simple principle-- "In the blink of an eye, we can all make a difference"-- BlinkNow provides housing, schooling, and medical care for hundreds of Nepali women and children. A father and passionate cricket and Redskins football fan, Dominic believes that sports can be both a source of great joy and a force to unite. Working with a group of boys and girls from first through sixth grades, Dominic is teaching them the fundamentals of cricket, the national sport of his native India.

DSFederal will support Dominic's mission with a $1,000 contribution to defray his travel expenses. If you are looking for a worthy cause to support during the holiday giving season, consider BlinkNow. We are proud of our people and their commitment to making the world a better place, even when they're on vacation.
