A message from DSFederal CEO Sophia Parker

The recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, as well as the historic social disparities that have made Black communities most vulnerable to the Covid-19 pandemic, have left us horrified and saddened at the historic and ongoing injustices that our Black communities continue to face in this country.

DSFederal’s mission is to improve human lives through transformative solutions, and through that process, strive to make the world a better place. But we cannot hope to ever achieve such solutions if we don’t acknowledge the systematic loss of Black lives in this country due to racism and police brutality.

"It falls on all of us...every day, to work together to create a ‘new normal,’ in which the legacy of bigotry and unequal treatment no longer infects our institutions or our hearts," said former President Obama in a statement last Friday.

DSFederal is committed, both as individuals and as a company, to helping create this new normal, in which the safety, health, rights, and representation of our African American sisters and brothers are never again called into question.
