For over 25 years, HRSA has been passionately carrying out its mission: to provide at-risk populations with access to high quality health care. This government agency is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and is acutely focused on improving health care to people who are geographically isolated, and economically or medically vulnerable.
Since 2015, DSFederal has supported HRSA’s mission, providing technical assistance to their HIV/AIDS Bureau (HAB) and the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) and dispatching over 120 subject matter experts and staff, including statisticians, primary care physicians, and health policy analysts. For example, we provide technical assistance support for PEPFAR-funded clinics under the Global Technical Assistance Program (G-TAP) and manage compliance reviews for the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program.
HRSA is known for being extremely mission-forward and consistently dedicated to quality and access. The agency evolved from a demo project in 15 communities to a national program in over 100 communities across 39 states and serving as a national model focused on racial and ethnic disparities in infant mortality and perinatal health.
Project Manager Echo Wang said, “HRSA is our favorite client. What HRSA does is near and dear to my heart, as well as many DSFederalers’. They always think of the people they help in every decision they make. We feel extremely honored to serve them.”
DSFederal remains focused and honored to connect our passion for service with HRSA’s devotion to mission!
