Rockville, MD — DSFederal was awarded a contract with the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to continue its program management and acquisition support services to its Facilities Enterprise, whose mission is to plan, design, build, and operate world-class medical facilities in the United States and abroad.
This four year contract represents the continuation of DSFederal’s current support for DHA, which began in 2013. Under this $1.3M award, DSFederal will continue its support in the areas of project management, acquisition, financial analysis, and report development assistance. DSFederal’s seven-year track record of supporting DHA also includes Facilities Architectural and Engineering program assistance and IT support.
Facilities Enterprise Deputy Chief and Staff Director Sue Baker praises DSFederal’s “knowledge of processes and procedures, and their ability to adjust to the DHA’s transitional activities have ensured the successful operation of the Facilities Enterprise program and headquarters division operations.”
DSFederal’s Acquisition Support Specialist Latasha Kamara has become a valued member of Facilities Enterprise since taking on the role in 2016, providing exceptional support to over 80 personnel at the headquarters level in their contract requirements development, funding profiles, and timely requisitions. Thanks to Kamara and the support of other contracted services, DSFederal has ensured the success of Facilities Enterprise in developing, planning, and executing $1.6B in military construction.

Upon news of DHA’s award to DSFederal, VP of Administrative Support Angela Alexander said, “we are pleased to be able to continue being a strategic enabler, supporting DHA Facilities’ goals and objectives.”
DSFederal’s partnership with DHA’s Facilities Enterprise is a reflection of the firm’s mission to improve the health and safety of our world, through ensuring that our Servicemen and women and their families receive care in first-rate, modern facilities wherever they may be.
