DSFederal, an award-winning woman-owned business, announced a major contract award supporting the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) with Technical Assistance. Under this contract, DSFederal will deliver critical expertise through technical assistance site visits to culturally diverse and geographically dispersed health organizations funded by HRSA throughout the U.S. and globally.
DSFederal has provided technical assistance to HRSA’s HIV/AIDS Bureau and the Maternal and Child Health Bureau since 2015, developing a pool of over 120 subject matter experts and staff, including statisticians, primary care physicians, and health policy analysts. This contract award builds upon current HRSA projects, including Building Futures: Supporting Youth Living with HIV/AIDS and the Global Technical Assistance Program, which focuses on carrying out the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) at health clinics across the world.
Through research, analysis, and technical assistance site visits, subject matter experts will collaborate with HRSA-funded grantees to improve health outcomes for at-risk populations. In order to streamline the process of engaging and deploying experts, DSFederal recently developed an internal database with Tableau dashboards to track the availability and expertise of consultants.
“Our team is committed to empowering HRSA grantees with the skills and resources they need to best serve at-risk populations,” said Sophia Parker, founder and CEO of DSFederal. “We are known for providing high quality heath IT and data analytics to HRSA and the grants management community. We are in business to connect the health IT dots and to improve health care delivery for HRSA.”
In addition to DSFederal staff and consultants, a roster of proven subcontractors will offer reach back and niche expertise, including CAI, Mission Analytics Group, Karna, Social Solutions International, Strategix Management, Zero To Three, and Westat.
