DSFederal Scores Three New IT Contracts to Help Agencies Stay Current and Responsive to User Needs

Updated: Jan 6, 2020

Recently, DSFederal was given the green light to provide leading-edge technical assistance to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and the Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA) Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Systems (ESGR). Through these projects, DSFederal will continue providing system development and website redesign and enhancement.

Specifically, for the FDA, DSFederal will oversee project management and modernize the Computer Acknowledgement Receipt (CAR) application to improve data accuracy within the Property Management Information System (PMIS).

“We are excited and looking forward to supporting FDA on this project, which utilizes some of the latest technologies such as Angular, Node.js and Amazon AWS,” said Senior Project Manager Thiagarajan Prakash. “This project is also close to our hearts because DSFederal’s first project came from FDA, and we are still supporting that project as well.”

Additionally, DSFederal will redesign CPSC’s SaferProducts.gov, a government database where consumers report incidents of harm in the use of consumer products. Using the Drupal 8 content management system, our team of website developers and UI/UX experts will modernize mobile capabilities, overhaul content and update the agency’s reporting and registration forms.

Supporting DHRA, DSFederal will refresh ESGR’s portal suite of three applications which serve members of the Reserve Components. The upgrade will capture the most current system enhancements, remedy system bugs and resolve compatibility issues for mobile applications.

We are grateful and excited about these three new contracts which allow us yet another opportunity to use technology to make meaningful differences in the world!
